Dorothy has seen the challenges of bringing up a daughter with special needs at first hand. Not only that but she has also seen how hard it is to find suitable employment for them in a supportive environment.
She loves her angora rabbits and uses their hair to knit with. Not only does she make things for herself and her family but she uses her craft skills when helping with the children’s activities at Bethania.
Susan is a community tutor who has worked with a variety of groups, including people with learning difficulties. Amongst her interests are crochet, computer crafts, sewing and card-making. She got started making things when she was at school and somehow never seemed to stop. She has made clothes for herself and her daughter, things to decorate her home and even crocheted jewellery to sell.
